Banyan Pavilion B4
Built around a 300-year-old tree.
A day here
Morning. The pavilion opens entirely; there are no walls between you and the banyan. A long breakfast for the family. The kids are already in the pool.
Afternoon. Grandparents arrive. Three generations move easily through the space because the space was designed for it.
Evening. Dinner under the tree. The lights in the canopy come on slowly. Nobody wants to go inside.
Who this is for
Banyan is the family home. It expects to be full — kids, parents, friends, a long visit from someone who needed a soft place to land.
The neighborhood
Set within the Tegallalang owner village. School run shared with three other families. Weekly community meal.
