A day here
Morning. You open the doors and the canopy is at eye level — green for as far as you can see. Yoga on the deck. Nobody around.
Afternoon. A short walk to the village for coffee, then back to write. The villa is small in the right way: nothing extra, nothing missing.
Evening. The light goes orange through the leaves. You eat outside, again. You have not turned on the air conditioning once this week.
